Who is IFB Corporation?
IFB Corporation was established as a holding company to integrate and strategically manage its two core business units (SBUs): Incorporated Food & Beverages and PE Plastics.
The business started by producing a small range of traditional snacks , including crunch snacks, roasted nuts and roasted maize corn under Gango brand. Early product offerings include:
o Gango Corn and Nut Mix
o Gango Soft Corn(in two flavours)
o Flavoured Roasted Nuts
oCrunch Snacks
To align with regulatory requirements and a growing vision, the company was registered as Gango Traditional Foods, and later rebranded to Incorporated Food and Beverages to reflect its expanding scope in the food and beverage industry.
Today, Incorporated Food and Beverages manufactures a broad range of products, operating from Harare, in Airlington Industrial Area. Our flagship product is Honeypot Maheu, a popular traditional beverage. Other offerings include:
o African Diet Maheu
o Tapi Tapi Maheu
o Heritage Brew
In January 2018, the company expanded vertically by launching a supporting SBU, Persistent Effort Enterprises (Private) Limited, trading as PE Plastics. This division was created to provide customized packaging solutions for Incorporated Food and Beverages as well as external clients. PE Plastics specializes in manufacturing and supplying a variety of flexible plastic packaging products, including:
o Gravure Printed Films
o LDPE, BOPP, Polyester
o Laminated Filmso Gravure Printed Films
o Shrink Films
o Shrink Sleeves
